Description

A North Island, New Zealand family practice has multiple openings for a qualified and dedicated family medicine physician with the highest of medical standards. Would you like to join a progressive, well-managed, and welcoming general practice in North Island, New Zealand - we would love to hear from you. Join this well-established and highly regarded medical practice where you will enjoy an exceptional work-life balance with an option to work 4 or 5 days per week. This practice is supported by an urgent care clinic and base hospital on the property providing secondary care. Overall, this practice consists of a driven team of doctors (many from around the world), nurses, management, and admin staff who, together, are committed to providing quality healthcare to patients and the community. We welcome you to come to New Zealand and hope this thriving practice that upholds a positive work culture which fosters diversity, inclusion and cultural sensitivity becomes home to you. With a population of around 26,000, the town offers a superb family experience, excellent schooling, and local facilities. A scenic train ride or an hour and a half drive to New Zealand’s capital city of Wellington. This community has 3 forest parks, a huge coastline (complete with lighthouses) and the Classic NZ Wine Trail passing right through. Head up to the Waiohine Gorge (35 minutes) at the foot of the Tararuas and a swinging bridge is your gateway to hiking (aka Tramping) into the ranges. Head out to Cape Palliser on the coast, and you will pass through the tiny fishing village of Ngawi where you’ll see a colorful array of old bulldozers and tractors parked on the beach.
