Quick Facts

  • $240k salary plus bonus and RVU
  • Closed ICU; 16 shifts per month
  • 11-hour shifts instead of 12-hour shifts; Usually 4 or 5 days of rounding with 4 days off
  • See 13 – 15 patients per day; Handful of admitting shifts throughout the month
  • Academic affiliation
  • 40 hours of CME time with annual $3k stipend
