Description

A private physician-owned inpatient medicine group in central New Jersey is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team of over 30 physicians and APPs. The schedule is 5 on 5 off working 10-12 hour shifts. This is a full-time permanent position with benefits starting day one. They prefer providers with at least 1 year of hospitalist NP/PA experience but will consider strong new graduates and experience in areas like Cardiology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, and Critical Care. New Jersey license in hand is required. The new APP should be comfortable working autonomously but will have support from a collaborating physician and inpatient subspecialty physicians within the hospital. The position entails admissions and attending floor calls. No ICU, procedures, codes, or RRT. This is a growth position with a group that values teamwork and work/life balance. They have 18 years of experience and many of their providers have been with the group for years. This region of central New Jersey in Middlesex County offers great public schools and prides itself on its parks and open spaces. The township is considered one of the best places to live in New Jersey.
